Hello, friends. It’s me, Ray Shipley.
I’ve decided it would be fun to get my favourite poets together (yet again) and get rowdy, because two of my favourite things are (1) poetry, and (2) ignoring my bedtime. So come along to Little Andromeda, get yourself a pint or three, get cosy with a friend on a couch and listen to some poems. There might even be some music! It’ll all be a strange and good experiment, as it always is. There will also be a tiny open mic, so bring along a poem if you’re that way inclined.
Let’s be real: this event is likely to run longer than an hour.
This event is free! But if you’d like to make a donation for the performers, that would be much appreciated.
We’re right in the middle of the Terrace… Find Oxford lane (between Terrace Tavern and Amazonita), then go up the stairs behind Little Fiddle, or go up the elevator between Bangalore Polo Club and Amazonita. You can also access it from Shands Lane. Once you’re up the stairs, look for the Little Andromeda sandwich board, or our windows which have Little Andromeda written all over them!
It’s about a block from the bus exchange, and if you are bringing your car then there is a brand new carpark next door; type 92 Hereford Street into your GPS!
