Hardly Working is a new play written from the perspective of an uncertain, neurotic 24-year old woman, coming to terms with adulthood. Set as a bunch of vignettes, to the backdrop of an original score; we experience a kaleidoscopic collage of the lives of an eclectic group of 20-somethings. We are invited into moments of quiet intimacy, bad jobs, breakups, first loves, expressions of self-doubt, joyful realisations, first drafts and a glimpse into the colourful fantasy worlds that we work so hard to keep secret. Funny, moving, at times ugly and others beautiful. This is a show that explores the epic scope of feelings that accompany youthful unknowing.
