Everyone knows the story of Cinderella, but have you ever wondered what became of her stepsisters? UGLY – The Untold Story Of The Stepsisters follows Olga and Agnes as they set out on an adventurous quest to discover that beauty actually lies within.

This new original musical, written by Christchurch-born Nicky Douglas, grapples with a struggle that is all-too familiar to our youth in the age of social media, and teaches children to see goodness as beauty.UGLY allows even the youngest child to reconsider the labels put on classic archetypes of villains and place the importance of kindness over symmetry.

Come along and join Olga and Agnes on a wild adventure full of zany characters, hilarious antics and a sprinkling of fairytale magic. We’re right in the middle of the Terrace… Find Oxford lane (between Terrace Tavern and Amazonita), then go up the stairs behind Little Fiddle, or go up the elevator between Bangalore Polo Club and Amazonita. You can also access it from Shands Lane. Once you’re up the stairs, look for the Little Andromeda sandwich board, or our windows which have Little Andromeda written all over them!
