One Dollar Genre is an Ōtautahi based film crew who produce one short film a month, based on a genre chosen by YOU!

As we gear up for our 3rd year of short films, we want to celebrate our recent catalogue by screening all 8 films we produced in 2023! These in include an epic Optimistic SciFi, a harrowing New Zealand set Western, a bloody-yet-Christmassy One Shot movie, to name a few!

After the films we will also hold a Q&A with our crew, before opening the first genre poll of 2024, meaning you can suggest and vote on the genre of our debut short film of the year
