The Inaugural Little A Improv Jam

We're going to give an improv jam a go!

We'll start with one on Wed 19th Feb 6pm, and decide whether we do it again after that! We ask that you sign up by two days before so we can plan the night a bit better.

We are lucky to have this first jam hosted by improv veteran KATHLEEN BURNS. Kathleen Burns will be a household name to most of you, being one of New Zealand's most sought after improvisers, and one of the country's busiest working actors.

This one will be free to attend, open to anybody who has done at least a little bit of improv, and is NOT a show. If you'd like to come and be a supportive audience member, however, you're welcome to watch.

Some more info! ...

• Sign up to say if you're coming by yourself, or in a duo/team, if you just want to partake in scenes or if you want to try something specific out. You can also just turn up on the night and if there's room, that's fine too. But we'd prefer you tell us that you're coming so we can plan better.
• The jam will take place from 6pm (note the early time) for about an hour, and we'll keep the bar open after for anybody that wants to stick around. The dinner menu will be available too if you're hungry after.

• It's not a workshop, so there will be no feedback, especially no unsolicited feedback. It's just a chance to jam and get on the stage. If you want to tell someone you enjoyed their scene though, that's allowed.
• No particular level of experience required and we'll cater to your level, although it's not an improv lesson so you need to know at least a tiny bit about improv to get on the stage
• As signups come in, if we feel we're getting too many we reserve the right to cut signups off, so please register early if you can
