Families are complicated and relationships are hard, but let’s share an evening appreciating the people who make us who we are.

Filled to the brim with love, gratitude, and a couple of doses of honest reflection, For My Family, And Yours is an intimate, nourishing evening of gentle storytelling, poetry, and music. Part concert, part conversation, Ravi the Poet weaves together family stories filled with vulnerability, joy, and difficult truths.

This isn’t just a performance, it’s a shared experience. Audience members are given a postcard starting with "Hey, I just wanted to say..." as an invitation to write down memories sparked during the show and send a thank-you when you get home. There is space to share memories and gratitude during the performance, though any audience interaction is completely voluntary.

The final section discusses the impact of suicidal thoughts and behaviour on a family, not just the person suffering. This topic is approached with immense love and care, with an intermission immediately beforehand if you wish to step out, and the journey ends on an extremely hopeful and uplifting note.
