Late Night Poetry Hour

Once a month Little Andromeda presents Late Night Poetry Hour! We start with an open mic and then two phenomenal feature poets perform a set each.

Guidelines for poets who want to participate in the open mic:

- Get to the theatre 15 minutes before the show starts and find the host in the foyer to sign up. The open mic lineup is based on a first-come first-serve basis.

- Poets of all stages and styles are welcome. Please note that this is a late-night show, and therefore our recommended minimum age for performers is 18.

- Please respect your fellow poets and perform for a maximum of 3 minutes.

- Please respect the audience and provide content warnings to keep us safe.

- This is an uncensored space, but we will not tolerate hate speech.

Yeah, we lied, the show usually (always) goes longer than an hour. Little Andromeda’s bar is open before the show and tickets can be purchased online or at the door for $10 – but you are encouraged to contribute koha that feels right to you.
