Rehearsed Reading: Whiskey in the Jar

It is 1845 and as the Great Famine begins to starve Ireland, Molly, a woman driven by vengeance, stows away on board The Tory, a prison transport ship sailing from Ireland to Van Diemen's Land. Hiding in the hold she encounters Dearg, a mysterious woman with a dark past. As the voyage progresses their fates become intertwined as memory feeds memory, folding past and present into each other.


Betrayal echoes across lifetimes.
But this is not just a ship.
This is a reckoning.
