Science of Getting 2 High

Pharmacology lecturer by day and comedian by night, Dr Jonathan Falconer returns with a show that fuses sharp comedy with the science of drugs. The Science of Getting 2 High, a sequel to the Science of Getting High explores why some drugs are more harmful than others, weaving neuroscience together with personal stories about psychedelic substances and what their rapid rise in use may mean for our future.

After being runner up for City Weekly Best Comedian in Utah in 2015 Jonathan moved to New Zealand and has toured extensively, appearing at Fringe World, Adelaide Fringe, and winning Best New Act at the Mount Maunganui Comedy Festival. He has also been featured on Radio New Zealand.
