Emma Newborn is Wobbly.
Emma has had a body for 40 years: it’s the longest relationship she’s ever been in. This silly, funny, sometimes ragey, clown-ey show is about bodies that wobble (Emma’s), emotions that wobble (also Emma’s), and a few other things that Google listed under the search term: “things that wobble”.
Wobbly, has been in development over several stages and is a collaboration from some Otautahi’s most exciting artists. Initially directed by Victoria Abbott who guided the early stages, director Tessa Waters now takes Wobbly through to its first audience. Nick Zwart’s playful design brings it all together for what will be a very fun couple of shows in November.
Come wobble with us.
